LinkedIn Photo Score is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe you should be able to analyse your professional photo without worrying about data collection or storage. This policy explains exactly how we handle your information.

Photo Handling

When you upload a photo for analysis (Photo Score or Roast features):

• Your photo is sent directly to our AI analysis service
• Analysis happens in real-time (approximately 10 seconds)
• Your photo is immediately discarded after analysis
• No copy of your photo is saved to any server, database, or storage system
• We do not use your photos to train AI models
• Roast results and analysis scores exist only in your browser session

Image Ownership Requirement

By uploading an image, you confirm that:

• You are the person depicted in the photo, OR
• You have obtained explicit written consent from the person depicted
• You own the copyright or have a valid licence to use the image
• All persons depicted are at least 18 years of age

While we do not store images, uploading photos of others without their consent violates our Terms of Service and may violate applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Data We Collect

We collect minimal, anonymised data to improve our service:

• Aggregate statistics: Total number of photos analysed and average scores (no individual data)
• Technical data: Basic analytics like page views and browser type to maintain site performance

We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information. You can use LinkedIn Photo Score completely anonymously.

Third-Party Services

LinkedIn Photo Score uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI): We use Anthropic's Claude AI models to analyse photos and generate results. Your photo is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is not stored by Anthropic for training purposes. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
• Google Analytics: With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand site usage. See Google's privacy policy.
• Vercel: Hosts our website. See Vercel's privacy policy.
• Upstash: Stores aggregate statistics only (total analyses, average scores). No personal data.

Cookies & Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us improve the experience. Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

• _ga: Distinguishes unique users (expires after 2 years)
• _ga_*: Maintains session state (expires after 2 years)

You can decline analytics cookies when you first visit the site. If you accept, you can clear your choice by deleting cookies in your browser settings.

We do not use cookies to identify you personally. Analytics data is aggregated and helps us understand things like which pages are most visited and how users navigate the site.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. Your photos are processed and immediately forgotten.
